ILP x LUTRON Announce How To Be Brilliant Collaboration
The Institution of Lighting Professionals How To Be Brilliant lecture series returns for 2025 with a new sponsor and revitalised focus on delivering informal, inclusive, design-inspired talks to those passionate about the lit environment.
The Institution of Lighting Professionals will continue to support the professional development of young lighting talent, by offering practices who participate in the talks, and opportunities to pair junior team members with senior designers as presenters.
Chief Executive Officer of the Institution of Lighting Professionals, Justin Blades says, “2024 saw several young designers gaining their first-ever experience as presenters at the HTBB talks. I believe learning new skills gives a feeling of accomplishment, which ultimately leads to a boost in confidence and self-belief in your own capabilities. I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome the Women Lighting Professionals (WLP) and Young Lighting Professionals (YLP) community to HTBB, as a result of a new collaboration with the hashtag#ILPBrilliant team for this series of talks."
