Exterior Lighting Diploma

After completing all three modules, you will work independently on your ELD Completion Project. This will be assessed, and all successful students are then awarded the ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma.
The course is managed by the Institution of Lighting Professionals, who are on hand to provide support and advice at every stage.
Comprehensive joining instructions and a learning agreement will be sent before your start date. We will send you general guidance notes to download so you can be fully prepared.
Modules A, B and C are fully residential. Your accommodation and meals at the hotel will be reserved for you and the cost is included in the course fee. The programme is intensive with tutorial sessions starting at around 9am and continuing throughout the day and into the evening. Each Module runs from Monday to Friday and students are welcome and encouraged to arrive on the Sunday before the Module starts, to settle in and meet other students.
Costs
UK: £2,025 + VAT (£2,430 inclusive) for members and £2,835 + VAT (£3,402 inclusive) for non-members
Ireland: €2,795 for members and €3,912 for non-members
These costs are for each residential module and include accommodation, meals during the course and learning materials.
There is no charge for submission of the completed project.
Completion Project
To complete your ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma, you will be set a Completion Project
The Completion Project can be worked on between each module. Information and guidance notes are distributed and students have ample time to discuss these with a tutor. Ongoing tutorial support and encouragement is provided via telephone, MS Teams and email for students working on their Completion Project. This can be in a group session or one to one. The project is assessed and all successful students are then awarded the ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma. You can submit your project at any time and we aim to mark your project in 4-6 weeks of submission.
