President's Welcome

We’re delighted to invite you to ILP Lighting Live Local Authority 2026, returning on Thursday 5 February, to the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel. This year’s theme, Commercialisation, focuses on how local authorities can unlock new revenue opportunities from their existing lighting assets.

Our keynote panel discussion, “What can Local Authorities do to generate new income streams?”, will explore practical approaches to monetising infrastructure — from licensing third-party attachments to lighting columns such as small cells, Wi-Fi and CCTV, to advertising, banners, and innovative lighting solutions that generate value while maintaining safety and standards.

Building on the success of previous years, Lighting Live 2026 will offer a dynamic mix of CPD-accredited technical sessions, industry-led insights, and an expanded exhibition showcasing the latest technologies, equipment and commercial models shaping the sector.
