Congratulations to our New President!

The ILP is a recognised and respected institution with over 100 years of staying power. These two volunteer membership roles will provide the leadership and drive to identify priority lighting-related issues to address in these specific sectors and direct the Institution's work to support those lighting professionals working in Local Authorities and Architectural Lighting Design respectively.  Role descriptions are available on request from, and applications including a short summary CV and personal statement covering why you feel best suited to the role should be emailed to the Chief Executive, Justin Blades via [email protected].  

The ILP is pleased to announce that it will be supporting CIBSE by attending the Build2Perform Live event being held at London Excel on 5-6 December.

The role of Trustee is enjoyable, important and rewarding — offering the opportunity to help shape the direction of the Institution and deliver the ILP’s roadmap for the future - Strategy 2026. It also offers the chance to meet and work with people from different backgrounds, sectors and experiences within the lighting industry.

All at the Institution of Lighting Professionals were greatly saddened to hear of the death of Clive Lane. We extend our condolences to Clive's family, friends, and all those in the lighting community who are grieving.
