The ILP Ireland Regional Technical Event will take place on 21st May 2026 at the Old Ground Hotel, Ennis. The day will include a series of technical presentations and industry updates, followed by an evening dinner and networking.
We’re pleased to have support from Electric Skyline & Urbis as event sponsor. Confirmed speakers include Pat Neville MSLL (Electric Skyline), who will present on “Protecting Our Dark Skies”.
The event is expected to attract attendees from across Ireland and the UK involved in public lighting design, delivery and maintenance.
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to attend both the Morning and Afternoon/Evening events, then two separate tickets will need to be purchased.

Brian Higgins and David Lordan - Cork City Council - Transformative UMR synchronisation though Automatic Updates
- Cork City Council (CCC) undertook a project to automatic it’s monthly inventory updates. Through this project CCC working in conjunction with the UMR built a programme to present the information is a format which worked with the UMR software, that could then be upload into the UMR system and immediately update any inventory changes carried out on the CCC PL networks for the previous month. This project also then identified (T)MPRNs where the information on the CCC and UMR database differed, this allowed CCC to review and rectify anomalies between the databases.
