The ILP, IALD, SLL and Zumtobel Group launched the social media initiative called The Light Minded Movement to encourage wellbeing among those working in lighting. Each week a theme is set and people are invited to post related and inspiring light based pictures.
The initiative has headed into week 13 with nearly 700 followers.
Special guests have been invited to guest edit the Light Minded Movement Instagram site over the coming weeks.
22 June
The delightfully creative team at Michael Grubb Studio are welcomed as guest editors for Week 13! The brief this week in their own words is ‘Sunsets + Oceans’.

Light artist Liz West will be looking for light from indirect sources.
Liz says ‘Thinking away from the original light source is more inspirational for me’.
6 July
Lighting Director Colin Ball at BDP will be our guest editor with his brief: ‘Your Last Pilgrimage to the Light’.
He asks ‘What was the last place or installation you visited that you chose specifically for its light?’
