The 6th Edition of GP03 takes into account the current health and safety legislation, developments in British Standards such as BS7671 and other guidance since 2003. GP03 has been produced in liaison with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and provides guidance on the correct methodology to employ in the highway electrical operations.
This document will:
- Provide guidance to all persons engaged upon or associated with the design, installation, operation and maintenance of street furniture or street located equipment.
- Reflect upon the changes in BS7671 and how they affect the highway electrical sector, in particular street lighting
- Update you on the latest electrical requirements in highway operations.
