The purpose of the ILP is to share knowledge and help lighting professionals support each other to develop, so our world can enjoy the benefits of great lighting. We’re creating a list of resources that members find useful and would recommend to others. This will be published in February so we are asking for your nominations and suggestions right now.

We encourage you to suggest resources which are widely accessible – can be read, watched or enjoyed by most lighting professionals wherever they are. This includes books, films, TV shows and online content.
You can submit as many suggestions as you like to LightList 2020. Please think about what knowledge has helped you in your career, whose work has inspired you, where have you found motivation? Five minutes of your time spent making a suggestion could lead to a career changing experience for a fellow ILP member, so thank you in advance for participating.

The original LightList is a list of over 100 thoroughly researched and thought provoking publications about light. The list demonstrates both the theoretic rigour and the artistic creativity behind lighting, crafted by an eclectic list of authors and carefully compiled by Mark Major of Speirs + Major together with recommendations from other ILP members.
