Designs for Lighting Ltd (DfL) is one of the leading independent exterior lighting and electrical design consultancies within the UK. The management team led by Alistair Scott are all qualified to MILP and CEng or IEng. All other staff are at or working towards this level which ensures DfL remain at the forefront of lighting consultancy and allows us to continually bring innovation to the market.

Lighting Team

The 16-strong team has extensive knowledge in all aspects of exterior lighting design, from concept through to completion. Our works often start with consultation on the scoping of the project to fully understand your requirements and to assist you in determining the cost/benefit ratio that the solution might offer over the life-cycle; this allows us to work with you to build a whole project cost picture to allow informed decisions on your project. We can also provide you with onsite survey, inspection and independent commissioning services to ensure highest levels of quality are maintained through the whole project cycle.
