The study was a collaborative effort between the Institution of Lighting Professionals and Carbon Reduction Technology, covering publicly controlled UK street lights. The study probes into the progress and potential in LED conversion, plus topical trends such as retrofitting, dimming and part-night regimes, and employment for lighting engineers within local government.

Carbon Reduction Technology presented the results in a Paper at the annual Professional Lighting Summit (Wednesday 12th June, 2.30pm) and is co-chairing a discussion workshop on Thursday 13th June (2.00pm).
