ILP Continuing Professional Development Policy

In line with the new Engineering Council (EngC) legislation, CPD recording for professionally active registrants became mandatory from 1 January 2019. The ILP must audit a sample of registrants’ records each year and make a report to the EngC. It is planned that 50% of registrants will be audited this year, rising to 100% by 2021.

The new ILP CPD Policy is now available and it is important to note that non-compliance may lead to suspension of both EngC registration and ILP membership, so please ensure your CPD records are up-to-date and ready for submission upon request. The audit requests will be split into two batches, the first in early March and the second in July.
