Your invitation to participate in Light, Seen – a camera on, interactive CPD showcase, held on Microsoft Teams
Feeder Pillars for Electric Vehicle Charging
The UK is urgently in need of an electric vehicle charging infrastructure, based on the following 3 facts:
1. Sale of diesel and petrol cars will be banned by 2030
2. Major UK cities are already banning petrol and diesel cars in city centres to reduce pollution
3. Office for Low Emission Vehicles ambition is to have zero emissions on Britain’s roads by 2050
This session will look at types of feeder pillars, types of electric chargers, and explain points to consider. The technology behind this will be explored along with a real life case study based in Bristol, UK.
This presentation will be of great relevance to electrical engineers, street lighting professionals and those with a role to play in net zero.
The presenter will be Alan Read, National Sales Manager at Charles Endirect.
This session is a mix of CPD and company information brought to you in a collaboration between the ILP and Premier member, Charles Endirect. Our Light, Seen initiative provides a connection whilst we can’t hold face to face exhibitions –so we politely remind our audience to refrain from discussing other companies during the session, just as you would on an exhibition stand.
Everyone is welcome, with your camera on and questions encouraged.
Places are limited – if you book and your plans change, please let us know so someone else can take your spot.
