ILP members will team up in a first of a kind collaboration on the Institution’s stand at the Landscape Show, 3-4 November, Birmingham NEC.
The event is aimed at landscape designers, architects, architectural technologists, contractors, facilities managers and interior designers. Volunteer lighting designers will meet with them to provide advice they normally would not get so easily: how to consider the environmental impact of any lighting.
CPD talks by Lee Gunner will explain more. Additionally, the ILP stand will feature lighting technology designed with dark skies in mind. Representatives from ILP Premier Members who have been working with the UK Dark Skies Partnership will be on hand to explain the specifications involved.
Jess Gallacher from the ILP explained “This is a great opportunity for us to spread our message to the wider world and help protect our dark skies”.
