Many installations face problems on site whether it be depth issues and congested footways or lead times and bad weather. Ryan will showcase solutions to get over these issues, helping with design, simplifying installations and reducing maintenance work. Ryan will also be touching on passive safety considerations with street furniture.

The professionals within our industry are always looking to improve the way we choose to light our environment such as reduction in energy consumption, advancement in light source technology and asset management techniques. This presentation seeks to identify the changes made to lighting assets in recent years. Identifying changes made to; light sources, method of control, photocell choice and night time operation – you might be surprised! David will also provide an update on the changes ELEXON and Ofgem, supported by UMSUG, have instigated concerning the method of unmetered energy settlement, this will effect many Local Authorities, Housing Associations and DNOs.
