A presentation looking at the use of aluminium as sustainable material due to its high recyclability. He will look at the life cycle and the carbon footprint of re using both pre and post-consumer aluminium in lighting columns.

• Solar Power: Future Lighting Provision in Hampshire

A paper on the future lighting provision in Hampshire including the use of solar lighting for wayfinding and footways including trails to asses their suitability. Although currently excluded for use under the terms of the PFI contract, their future use and viability is discussed.
