A monthly welcoming session for everyone in lighting. Hosted online – drop in any time between 1 and 3 pm.

For this month’s Hi Lights we’re going to be taking a special look at whether/how members are being affected by all the supply chain issues we’ve been reading about over the past few weeks and months.

Is it an issue for you or a storm in a teacup? What’s happening and how are you being affected at a practical level? What effect is it having on your ability to deliver on projects and/or costs? Have you experienced, or heard, any horror stories or, conversely, where suppliers have been going above and beyond to get things through on time or to schedule?

And, crucially of course, a) what do you think is causing it – Brexit, Covid, a combination of both, neither – and b) what’s the answer?

For this month’s Hi Lights session we will be joined by Nic Paton, editor of Lighting Journal, who is writing an article on the topic. He will ask your permission before reporting on anything you say, and will be more than happy to anonymise comments or contributions if you prefer.

Hi Lights is for you – whether you are:

  • busier than ever and need speedy advice from your lighting peers
  • seeking inspiration and a chance to bounce ideas off others
  • keen to let people see your lighting solutions
  • looking for help with projects and specification
  • finding you have time on your hands and would like to virtually connect with a bunch of friendly faces

You can stay as long or as little as you like. We are here when you need us. Come and say Hi.

When you register, you will receive an Eventbrite email with a Zoom link and password to enter on the day of the session.

Your details will be shared with the event organisers, speakers and hosts as needed to ensure a great event tailored to the attendees as much as possible.
